Eric Sosrojoedo, expert in logistics in South-Suriname. Eric has been working in logistics for 15 years, of which the last five years in the interior of Suriname. He understands the needs for efficiency in operations in the relatively costly operation in the South of Suriname. Eric’s punctuality and cooking skills were acquired in the army from 1982-1989. His ability to work in an administrative structure comes from his experience working as logistic officer in the National Institute of Environment and Development in Suriname from 1998-2007. For the last 5 years, Eric has worked as logistics assistant at the Amazon Conservation Team. In this function, he travelled through all the interior and helped communities building capacity for making maps on land use. He was responsible for organizing national and international events in the interior, sometimes with more than 40 peoples attending. Eric interacts regularly with interior communities, and these personal friendships make a difference in planning and executing logistics.
