The Amazon Regional Network (ARA, Spanish acronym) is a network that aims for the conservation and sustainable use of Amazonian ecosystems and their biotic and cultural diversity and to promote the welfare of its inhabitants. ARA is a Pan-Amazonian network composed by institutions and people in national Amazonian networks (National ARA). 

ARA works from a comprehensive framework which seeks primarily to reduce deforestation as a mechanism for mitigating the effects of climate change impacts on biodiversity, encompassing other social, environmental and cultural dimensions.network composed of institutions and people in national Amazonian networks (National ARA).
